The Auto Moto

The Auto Moto is a 150cc tricycle that gets 83 MPG and will go 55 MPH. It has a partial roof, giving more protection than a typical motorcycle faring. Continuously variable transmission. Seats two, up to 375 pounds. Front disc and rear drum brakes. Leans into corners leaving both rear wheels on the ground. No special motorcycle license required in many states. 72-liter lockable trunk. Two lockable glove compartments. Integrated stereo system with MP3 player plug. Lots of colors. Facebook page. $3,800.
There's a red one at the Lawn & Tractor store 5 miles from my house. I think I'll be upgrading my 80cc scooter real soon now.

Disc brakes all 'round

Apparently, they haven't updated their web site since changing the rear brake from a right foot pedal to a left-hand lever, and from drum to disc.

It appears that New York is not one of the states that allows riding of three-wheeled scooters with a regular driving license. From www.dmv.ny.gov/motorcycles.htm:

Ok, I'll bite. Where would the second person sit? On the roof? Or on the driver's lap? I only see one seat. :)

It's a two-tiered seat.

It's a two-tiered seat. The rider uses the back-rest, and the driver sits in front, with his butt against the rise in the seat.

Couldn't tell you. I decided to buy a Honda PCX-150 instead. That easily goes 55mph, even with my 250 pounds on it (though not up much of a hill), and gets 90 mpg.
