Baghdad From the decapitation strike the 1st morning, Baghdad was attacked relentlessly night and day. Despite Saddam doubles and Iraqi propaganda, the fate of the Iraqi capital was sealed as U.S. forces advanced from the south, east and southwest, and as the north was closed to them.
