How can I help?

The MEG

Q:  Can I buy a MEG and power my home with free energy?

A:  The MEG is not commercially available at this time.  Read about the MEG's status here and here.

Building An Overunity Device

Q:  I want to build my own MEG, experimental unit, overunity device, free energy machine...
Where can I get a schematic?  Do you offer a kit of parts?  Does the book tell how I can build my own?

A:  We do not currently sell a "kit of parts".  Tom Bearden has explained why many times.  Read his answer...  Energy from the Vacuum  is a textbook for the new physics, not an experimenter's handbook.  Energy from the Vacuum is probably necessary, but not sufficient, for building a working prototype unit.  Tom Bearden is a theoretician who explains the scientific principles involved, not a hands-on "bench person".

Free Energy Generation: Circuits & Schematics by John Bedini and Tom Bearden and Part 2 in the Energy from the Vacuum DVD series can help experiments and prototype builders get started.

Cheniere Press

Q:  What does the Cheniere Press logo represent?

A:  The Cheniere Press logo passing the baton symbolizes the transfer of vital knowledge to a new generation of scientists, engineers and researchers for the betterment of the human condition. Tom Bearden has been running this foot-race alone for many decades.  At a defining moment in history, we think it's about time he got some help!

Q:  Who is "Cheniere Press"?

A:  Cheniere Press is a small team of volunteers dedicated to disseminating information about Tom Bearden's work, believing it holds extraordinary promise for our world and for humanity.  The volunteers are professionals and retirees from several professional fields, who give up their precious free time to make sure this information is published and to assist Tom Bearden and John Bedini with their projects.

Online Store

Q:  Your products are priced in U.S. dollars, making them expensive in my country.

A:  We are aware of this problem but regrettably, we have no control over foreign exchange rates.  The books are manufactured in the United States, so we have to pay our costs in U.S. dollars.  We offer Student Discounts to qualifying students enrolled at an institution of higher learning.  We offer bulk discounts if you and 9 friends want to buy 10 copies.  We can quote discounted international prices based on economy (ground) shipping, but we no longer publish these rates because most customers are unwilling to wait 6 weeks for delivery.

Q:  The books are expensive for U.S. residents too.

A:   All proceeds go to support the free energy work described on this website.  Through volume arrangements with a new printer, we have been able to significantly reduce the price of several titles. The volunteers from Cheniere Press have worked diligently to restore all of Tom's books to in-print status and release new titles.  Many have now been republished with updated content and new cover art.  There are additional book and DVD titles in the pipeline.

Q:  Is there a Senior Citizen discount?

A:  No.

Q:  I'm unemployed / between jobs / retired / broke.  Is there a "hardship discount"?

A:  No.

Q:  I see Bearden books offered for sale on eBay, Amazon.com, etc.   Do you sell through Amazon.com?

A:  No, we don't.  Cheniere Press is the only authorized distributor for Tom Bearden's books.  Maybe what you saw is a used book.

Q:  I would prefer to buy Tom Bearden's books at my local book store.

A:  The books are sold from this website.  We have wholesale arrangements with several resellers.

Q:  But I'd like to meet you in person and buy a book on the spot without a shipping delay.

A:  Sorry, our volunteers do not operate a retail store.

Q:  How much should I add for shipping and handling?

A:  The published  prices include shipping and handling.

Q:  Do your  prices include state sales tax?

A:  No, we do not charge state sales tax on retail purchases.

Q:  Wouldn't it be faster/better/safer to send my check via Registered Mail (FedEx, Airborne Express, DHL ...)?

A:  Please don't!  We are in a rural location where it is impossible for a courier to come up to our door for a signature.  Asking for our signature will delay your order by up to several weeks, and possibly require us to drive two hours out of our way.

Q:  Does shipping really take 4 weeks?  Why so long?  Is there a waiting list?

A:  No, not usually.  We typically ship within a a few days to a week after receiving payment.  Occasionally we must replenish  inventory when demand is high.  Delivery time varies according to destination and shipping method.  When a title is backordered (i.e. we do not have the item on hand), we will always advise you by email (if you provide an email address that works) and give you the option to cancel your order and receive a refund, or wait.

Q:  How do I select the kind of shipping I want?

A:  Select the "Buy Now" icon corresponding to the item you want.  For shipping to U.S. destinations, chose the U.S. or Domestic Shipping button.  For all other countries, choose the Global or International shipping button (the higher price).  For U.S. customers, we usually use the U.S. Postal Service "Media Mail" book rate, except we mail DVDs and smaller items first class when it is cost-effective to do so.  For international customers (including Canada) we offer U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail International shipping (or first-class international for items weighing under 16 ounces).

For logistical reasons we have selected the United States Postal Service as our primary shipping method.

Q:  I prefer air courier (UPS, FedEx, DHL, Airborne Express,...) shipping.

Contact Cheniere.Press@hughes.net to make special arrangements. The price varies by location. We will also need your telephone number for the airbill.

Q:  Will you acknowledge my order?

A:  Yes.  Shortly after you order online, we receive a payment notification by email, then we confirm your shipping address by email with an order number.  For mail orders, if you provide an email address we will acknowledge the order when we open your letter.  (That is, if you provided your email address, spelled it right, and we could read your handwriting; a fraction of orders go unacknowledged because somebody provided an email address that doesn't work.)

If you don't receive a timely Purchase Confirmation, please email us and ask for it.  Spam filters sometimes block our emails from reaching our customers.  If this occurs, we can resend our message from a different email address or send it in a plain text format.

Q:  I don't want to give you my email address.  Will you acknowledge my order by telephone?

A:  No, not even if you provide a toll-free number.  To protect your privacy and our own, the Cheniere Press volunteers do not do business by telephone.  We acknowledge orders only by email.

Q:  How do I know when my book has been shipped?

A:  Due to volume, we do not send routine Shipping Notices.  We do respond to order inquiries by email.

Q:  My book is late.  What should I do?

A:  The majority of orders arrive on time.  We have found that a fraction of our packages arrive much later than expected.  Please allow some extra time, then email us if you think there's a problem.  We aim to provide total customer satisfaction.

Q:  Can I track my book shipment?

A:  No, we do not use tracking on our shipments.  If something does not arrive then please contact us and we will look into the problem and take appropriate action.

Q:  I need an invoice from Cheniere Press before I can obtain a check.

A:  To save time and money, we use the Internet for most customer interactions.  If you need an invoice, please print the Printable Order Form.  We will provide a written invoice only for bulk orders from book stores and distributors.

Q:  What is your wholesale price for bookstores?

A:  Our trade discount is available for orders of 10 copies of a given title.  Email Cheniere.Press@hughes.net for details.

About DVDs

Q.  What do you mean by "NTSC" and "PAL" video?

A.  They are standards for analog video signals as used in different parts of the world.

  • Countries that use NTSC include:  U.S.A., Canada, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan.

  • Countries that use  PAL include:  U.K., Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Holland, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey.

  • Countries that use (or have used) SÉCAM include:  France, Greece, Luxembourg, Romania, Russia.  We do not offer DVDs in the SÉCAM format at this time.

The DVD drives in modern computers generally can play DVDs in either format and you would not notice any difference.  The format is more important if you plan to view the DVD on a television set.

Q:  What is your policy on replacing defective or unplayable DVDs?

A:  Our manufacturing process includes automated validation against the master to ensure DVD quality.  We will replace DVDs that are defective or damaged, but not ones that you cannot play because the type you requested is not supported by your player.  In February, 2006 we switched  from the DVD+R ("plus-R")  format to the DVD-R ("minus-R") format, which seems to be compatible with the majority of DVD players.  Before ordering, ensure that you know what format your player can play.  If you are uncertain, then please do not order a DVD. Sorry, No DVD refunds. If you are having trouble with a DVD purchased from Cheniere Press, please read our DVD Diagnostics page before contacting us, as it may help solve the problem.

About PayPal

Q:  What is PayPal?

A:  PayPal is the world's #1 online payment service.  We use PayPal as our credit card and electronic funds transfer acceptance service.  PayPal handles all the details of verifying your payment information in a secure online environment; we never see your private data.  You don't need a PayPal account to make a payment with PayPal. You can pay from a credit card or bank account.  For further information, see https://www.paypal.com

Q:  How do I use the Shopping Cart? ("Add to Cart" button)

A:  The shopping cart is available throughout our website.  Anytime you see an Add to Cart button, you can add that item to your shopping cart.  The shopping cart remembers your selections until you pay for them.  When you are done shopping and want to pay for your order, click the View Cart button on any web page.  You will be prompted for your shipping address and payment method (credit card or bank account) in a secure environment provided by PayPal.  Over 56 million people in 45 countries use PayPal, the world's #1 online payment service.  If you cannot or do not wish to use PayPal, we accept checks and money orders with the printable order form.

Q:  I can't see any Add to Cart buttons!  What are you talking about?

A:  Recently, some Web browsers and/or software firewalls started blocking the display of PayPal buttons.  We are looking for a technical solution to this problem.  Meanwhile, we suggest two workarounds:  (1)  Turn off your Ad Blocker temporarily.  (2)  Try a different browser.

Q:  PayPal is not available for residents of my country.
I do not feel comfortable using PayPal.
I do not use credit cards.
Something goes wrong when I try to use PayPal.

A:  No problem.  You can mail a check or money order to pay for your order.  The Printable Order Form tells where to mail your payment.

Q:  Why must I use PayPal?  Why can't you just take my credit card number?

A:  We do not offer credit card pay-by-phone service. If you want to use a credit card, the only way we handle that is via our website, which uses PayPal's credit card authorization service as well as its electronic shopping cart function.  There is no fee when you use PayPal to make a payment.  You do not have to establish an account with PayPal in order to make a payment facilitated by PayPal.  If there is a problem with your PayPal order, we can issue a credit.

Q:  In my country, the normal procedure is to wire money directly from my bank or post office to your bank account.  I don't see your bank-wire routing information on the website.

A:  For security, we do not publish information about Cheniere Press's bank account.  Thus, we do not accept electronic payments directly.  If you want to fund your payment from a bank account, you can do so through PayPal.

Q:  Solutions to common PayPal issues.

1.  The shopping cart does not work.  Items disappeared from my cart.  I can't navigate past the first screen.  I don't see where to provide my shipping address.

A:  These symptoms appear if your web browser does not have "cookies" enabled.  Please refer to your web browser's Help to learn how to enable session cookies.  (A firewall is another place where your computer might be blocking cookies.)  A cookie is a small piece of data exchanged between your computer and the website.  It helps navigation by  remembering the state of your online session.  If your browser blocks session cookies, then PayPal's server cannot remember what's in your shopping cart or data that you input on the previous screen.

2.  Can you ship to a different address than my billing address?

A:  Yes, at the present time we allow you to input any shipping address.  Feel free to write in comments to help us ship your items to the right address.

3.  PayPal will not take my credit card.

A:  It might happen that you entered a credit card number some time in the past, and PayPal remembers your old credit card, which has now expired.  You try to input the same credit card number with a new expiration date but you can't.  The solution is delete your expired credit card number.  Then PayPal will prompt you to enter a new credit card number. You can now enter the same credit card number with the new expiration date.

Q:  I cannot use PayPal.  I do not want to use PayPal.

A:  If you cannot or do not want to use PayPal, we accept checks and money orders by postal mail. See our Printable Order Form for further information.

About Specific Books

Q:  What books do I get by buying The Tom Bearden Website CD-ROM?  Is it more economical to buy the CD-ROM than individual books?

A:  The following books are included in their entirety on the website:

  • Towards a New Electromagnetics
Part I: Solution to Tesla's Secrets and the Soviet Tesla Weapons
Part 3: Clarifying the Vector Concept
Part 4: Vectors and Mechanisms Clarified
  • The Final Secret Of Free Energy
  • Quiton/ Perceptron Physics: A Theory Of Existence, Perception, and Physical Phenomena

Q:  Are any of the books available in hard cover editions?

A:  No, they are all soft cover editions.  Our goal with Energy from the Vacuum, for example, was to produce a textbook of almost 1000 pages and price it far below the $200 range that such textbooks normally command.

Refund Policy

Q:  What is your refund policy?

A:  If you change your mind and your item hasn't been shipped yet, contact us right away and we may be able to credit your account.  Once the order has been shipped it is non-refundable.  DVDs are always non-refundable, although we will replace defective or damaged DVDs. If an item is back-ordered we let you know and give you the option to cancel it.

Our website visitor information is private.  We take the same steps to protect your personal information that we take to protect our own.  If you are concerned about the security or  privacy of any piece of personal information, then do not send it to us.  Cheniere.org does not use cookies.  Like most web sites, our web server collects data on which web pages are accessed (hit counts), and logs the home domain (ISP) of clients accessing our site.  This helps us improve website organization, tune the website to make it more accessible, and understand which material is most popular.

A:  No, we feel strongly about our privacy too, so our telephone number is unlisted.  We prefer that you email us at Cheniere Press; we usually reply the same day.  As a web- based business with customers in time zones worldwide, it is infeasible for us to staff a 24-hour telephone line.
