In general, 80 percent of all links on the internet disappear in one year. I last checked all the links on this page on March 11, 2006, and had to eliminate 38 of them as dead or temporarily unavailable. There is also a wealth of links in my blogs and commentaries, which are topically archived. Finally, there is a comprehensive bibliography on the democratic peace, which although not linked to the sources, provides titles that can be searched for on the Internet.

NOTE: Democide is murder by government, which includes genocide, mass murder, politicide, massacre, atrocities, bloody terrorism, and any other way in which government (the ruling organization of a well defined, populated territory) rulers, leaders, officials, authorities, or those acting officially on behalf of government, murder people. Genocide definitions may include all such murder, and thus be the same as democide, or be a subset of democide as indicated by the links below.
