The following pictures and remarks, marked the week-long mourning period for this great man. Hundreds of thousands made their way to California and Washington DC to pay their respects. The mourning period culminated in his state funeral in Washgton DC on Friday, June 101th, and his sunset burial in California that same evening.

Tens of thousands, then hundreds of thousands waited in line to pay their respects.

After the viewing, as Nancy was comforted, the President was moved from his library.

As tens of thousands more stood by, Nancy and the President were flown to Washington DC.

LYING IN STATE IN WASHINTON DC, JUNE 9-10, 2004:

In Washington DC, the President traveled through lined streets on a caisson to the rotunda.

Again, many tens of thousands waited in line to pay their respects to President Reagan.

FUNERAL IN WASHINGTON DC, JUNE 11, 2004:

President Reagan is brought into the National Cathedral and Pres. Bush seats Nancy.

Five presidents attend the wonderful and moving cerimony of faith, prayer, song and euology.

Thatcher, Mulroney, former Pres. Bush, Pres. Bush & Min. Danforth speak at the service.

BURIAL IN CALIFORNIA, SUNSET ON JUNE 11, 2004:

Tens, perhaps hundreds of thousands lined the roads as the President was driven back to his library.

A beautiful service of prayer, song and his children's remarks was held overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
