Dear Bill,
Some things I follow,
and some I don't, because of the time required. Just now, I'm
concentrating intensely on completing the book, which still needs about
two months work.
So I haven't paid more
than casual attention to the disappearances. We'll just have to wait
and see if anything else turns up on them. I do know that the Feds are
very, very closely watching any "private labs" now doing what could be
turned into dangerous biological warfare related research. With good
reason. We're still braced for a major attack on one or more of our
cities. The foreign assets to do it are already in country, as is
known.
What really bothers me
is smallpox. During the last decade, anyone with guts and money could
have bought it from the Russian biowar labs, after the Russian economy
collapsed. Almost certainly some of the terrorist-sponsoring countries
bought some. That means that some of the assets in the U.S. could indeed
have smallpox agent. Simply releasing smallpox in a substantial city,
anywhere on earth, will result in killing some 2 billion people --
nearly one-third the human population.
In my view, it's a
near certainty that it will be released. A question of when, not if.
Of course I hope I wind up being very, very wrong on that!
Best wishes, Tom Bearden |
