That's absolutely correct!
Just didn't want to come on too strong about the High Cabal, but it's
plans were made long ago.
Indeed, for many years the
Redstone Scientific Information Center (the big government library) here
on the post had copies of all those papers from Germany, in German,
containing the original German process. A few years ago I heard they
were no longer there, but am not sure that is correct. Certainly in the
last few years they have been almost demolishing RSIC, which is a great
pity.

Missing from all the machinations and extrapolations about energy
consumption in the future is the following wild-card.
During World War II, Nazi Germany modified, perfected, and used a U.S.
process for manufacturing clean-burning synthetic fuel from coal. This
"Holy Grail" was one of the secrets re-imported into a few select hands
after the War.
It is also a matter of public record that during the latter part of the
last century, several cartels bought up all the coal in the U.S. It has
been postulated that this was to await the day when oil would be on the
wane, and they could apply this secret process to their vast coal
holdings to produce synthetic fuel.
The foregoing is fact, not fiction, and formed the basis of the 1980s
film "The Formula", starring George C Scott and Marlon Brando (I have a
copy - they are hard to get - I wonder why?).
So Tom's projection of the cabals using a lot of their coal supplies in
the future is, I am sure correct, but they may in fact be planning to
convert them into synfuels, not burn them outright.
