Dear Jeff,

Right on, as to the conclusion that the usual alternative energy means will not solve the escalating energy crisis.

Neither will building lots of big new nuclear power plants (which is favored by much of the U.S. scientific community and by DoE).

With natural gas getting short and more costly also, and cheap oil peaked so that oil will just get higher, and very few new refineries having been built, the “normal” non nuclear power systems are “bottlenecked”.  Forget fuel cells; they will just displace the location of the problem, not solve it. And forget hydrogen; try looking into the violent safety aspects of trying to ship and handle hydrogen!

The only answer remaining in the “conventional” science is the use of coal. The nation does have plenty of coal, and so it could “mangle and wrangle along” with this idiotic centralized power system for awhile longer, if it really gets cracking on building lots of new coal-fired power plants. And apparently that is exactly what we are going to do. There are something over 100 new coal-burning power plants scheduled for building now, according to publications from the power industry itself.

More intensive use of coal will also result in more dirty byproducts, more damage to the biosphere, etc.

So the “Big Nuclear” folks are wooing the powers that be, by taking the attitude that “nuclear power is clean!” No hydrocarbon byproducts polluting the atmosphere!

And do some Googling on Peter Weiss, who occasionally lets some cats out of the bag on the horrible vulnerability of our centralized power grid system. Quite simply, the terrorists (many assets already in this country, and just biding the time till they are given the order) can and will lay the power grid in the dirt. They will also sever pipelines (couple guys and some shaped charges with timers), lay down transmission towers in key places, cyberwar attack the horrid and messy “control” systems for the power grid operation, etc. And whether the power plant is nuclear, coal fired, or gas fired, it has to have lots of electronic controls. Many nations can and have made EMP shooters that will take those controls out from some little distance. Some have made portable versions of the shooters, which will fit in the back of a large SUV or a personal van.

It appears that, about 2 to 2-1/2 years from now, the stretching of the U.S. economically (expanded war on terrorism, considerable and larger terrorist actions in the U.S. itself) will be optimized, in order to try to force a great economic collapse of the U.S. economy. Look at the escalating national debt, the deficits, etc. to get some idea of other major contributors. Anyway, in warfare one attacks one’s enemy in his weakest area. And for the U.S., that is going to be in two areas: (1) in our efforts trying to overcome the polarizations between various activist sections of our society, so the society can continue to function, and (2) in our efforts to prevent our economic stretch to the breaking point, with resulting collapse.

So for the terrorists, about 2 years down the road is where the polarizations are to have significantly increased to where many of them are spilling blood in the streets, convulsing our cities, etc. There is a specific program and measure being used to insure that part, but that is beyond this response.

Obviously, that is the ideal time to hit us severe blows economically. The power grid makes an unbelievably lucrative and “easily suppressed” target, of great economic repercussions. So it is going to come under very heavy terrorist attacks.

We will also have anthrax mailings that are massive, not just the little testing exercises conducted to date. Undoubtedly we will also have one or more professional aerial spray attacks of large population centers, where such an attack can easily result in from one to three million casualties. And everyone who wanted anthrax, got it back there a ways.

One could go on, but I’m sure you are aware of the ramifications of the international terrorist threat, and the hostile assets that have already been inserted in this country and are just waiting on the order to go.

The old Soviet Union long ago inserted nuclear weapons in all our large cities and population centers, along with the Spetznaz teams to detonate them on command, in the dirt and dirty. They are still there, waiting. Read Lunev’s book.

When the economy of the former Soviet Union collapsed and the empire fell apart, the Soviets and various parts of the empire could not even pay their generals and soldiers. So they sold off much of their more sensitive equipment, in order to survive. In the Ukraine, e.g., more than 100 nuclear warheads for missiles came up “missing and unaccounted for”.  Now nuclear warheads do not really get “lost”; they get stolen and sold on the lucrative black market, by desperate people. So those who wanted nukes, and had money and guts, could and did buy them. Some of those undoubtedly passed into hostile hands dedicated to destroying the U.S. and backing terrorism. And in that case, some of those weapons will have been inserted into our cities and population centers. Al Qaida some time ago revealed to the Arab world that it had seven nuclear warheads already inserted in U.S. cities. I suspect that was in fact quite true, and maybe even understated.

Now one begins to see the dimensions of the real, hidden terrorist threat. Not a few little C4 bombs only, but lots more, and lots that is specifically intended to destroy the U.S.’s viability as a nation, and to destroy the U.S. economy in a giant economic collapse.

That’s the three years looking at us; preparations for same, and then the execution phase.

The only thing I personally can do, is try to get out as much information as possible on energy from the vacuum, because systems taking their energy freely from the active vacuum are the only viable solution that could be done in time, given a significant U.S. scientific and government effort.

As to the MEG: We are a very hard year away from being able to put devices into mass production. There are some very special areas (control of the Aharonov-Bohm effect with precision, control of nonlinear oscillations including chaotic oscillations that are typical of highly nonlinear far from equilibrium systems, etc.). That’s some expensive research, with very sophisticated instruments, special techniques, and by specialists in about four different and unusual areas. When we get funding, that is exactly what we will launch into. Until then, there will be no MEGS that can be mass produced for the world market.

There are also other systems by other inventors, that are in fact ready for pre-producing engineering right now. At least three that I’m personally aware of. But again, the U.S. scientific community is not doing anything creative and innovative in energy; simply go check out the NAS, NAE, NSF, DoE, national laboratory, and university websites. The only thing – energy from the vacuum, cheaply and plentifully – that could save us when the centralized grid gets destroyed, is also the only thing NOT being worked on by our scientific community.

Our universities and research labs still use a terribly flawed old electrical power engineering model that still assumes the material ether, more than a century after such an ether was destroyed by Michelson and Morley. It also assumes that every EM field, potential, and joule of EM energy in the universe is and has been freely created from nothing at all, in complete violation of the conservation of energy law. It also assumes a flat spacetime (falsified since 1916). It assumes force fields in space (falsified when the material ether was falsified; force exists only in mass systems, never in massless space). It assumes an inert vacuum, falsified since at least 1930. It uses an old U(1) decrepit electrodynamics whose group symmetry is not sufficiently high to even allow modeling of energy from the vacuum. Much better higher group symmetry electrodynamic models have been available for some time. The EE model also prohibits the use of free regauging energy to power loads, even though every electrodynamicist and gauge theorist on earth already assumes that the potential and therefore the potential energy of any EM system can be freely changed, work-free, at any time.

And to cork the bottle tightly, our practicing engineers use the decrepit old closed current loop circuit, with the so-called “external power source” having its dipolarity wired in as half the load of the entire external circuit. That way, they rigorously insure the physical enforcing of Lorentz symmetrical regauging. The silly system dissipates half its collected energy to do nothing but destroy the dipolarity of the source that is freely (see why Lee and Yang got the Nobel Prize in 1957) streaming in a gushing flow of energy from that dipole, extracted directly from the vacuum.

Our own electrical engineering (and our scientific societies) haven’t even progressed to understanding how an electrical circuit is actually energized/potentialized and powered. It isn’t by cranking the shaft of the generator, or by dissipating chemical energy in a vacuum. That does nothing but furnish the work required to restore the source dipolarity, after the stupid closed current loop circuit keeps destroying the dipolarity (and its gushing energy from the vacuum) faster than it powers the loads.

So to keep the dipole established, one has to keep cranking the generator shaft. That way, the dipole continually gets forcibly restored, while the external circuit then forcibly destroys it faster than the external loads are usefully powered.

And that guarantees COP < 1.0, guarantees not using the free source of flowing EM energy that every dipolarity furnishes (it’s known as the broken symmetry of opposite charges in their exchange with the vacuum flux).

Every charge – even a single electron – already has infinite energy and infinite charge – in fact, a pair of each. E.g., quoting Nobelist Weinberg:

"[The total energy of the atom] depends on the bare mass and bare charge of the electron, the mass and charge that appear in the equations of the theory before we start worrying about photon emissions and reabsorptions. But free electrons as well as electrons in atoms are always emitting and reabsorbing photons that affect the electron's mass and electric charge, and so the bare mass and charge are not the same as the measured electron mass and charge that are listed in tables of elementary particles. In fact, in order to account for the observed values (which of course are finite) of the mass and charge of the electron, the bare mass and charge must themselves be infinite. The total energy of the atom is thus the sum of two terms, both infinite: the bare energy that is infinite because it depends on the infinite bare mass and charge, and the energy shift … that is infinite because it receives contributions from virtual photons of unlimited energy."

[Steven Weinberg, Dreams of a Final Theory, Vintage Books, Random House, 1993, p. 109-110.].

And every charge – because of its vacuum polarization and therefore an infinite dipolarity between the bare charge in the middle and the external polarization charge of the vacuum – continuously absorbs virtual photon energy, coherently integrates it into real observable EM energy (we previously spelled out the exact coherent integration procedure whereby disordered virtual state photon energy is integrated into quantum sized energy, and re-radiated as real observable photons). This real, observable EM energy is continuously emitted into space at light speed, establishing and continuously replenishing the associated external EM fields and potentials spreading outward at light speed from the moment of formation of the charge.

So yes, one can indeed extract EM energy directly from the vacuum, and lots and lots of it, and easily. Every charge already does it; so it’s a problem of what to do with the “free energy radiators” we already have universally available everywhere, pouring out negative entropy and free EM energy continuously.

Well, since all that is substantiated by at least two Nobel Prizes, and the basic facts are already in quantum field theory and particle physics, obviously that is the only energy area our scientific community is not funding and will not fund. They have not even published a book detailing all the erroneous modeling assumptions in classical Maxwell-Heaviside electrodynamics and electrical engineering. And they apparently have no intention of doing so.

So our scientific community not only will, but is fiddling while Rome prepares to burn. And they are in fact helping to prepare it to burn better and more completely.

Anyway, that is the problem. You will know there is a solution when NAS, NSF, and DoE suddenly place some substantial funding on research in energy from the vacuum. And when they fund and allow the sharp young grad students and young post doctoral scientists to do some significant research along the lines we pointed out above.

Till then, we are on a collision course with destiny. Understand, I fervently hope I’m totally wrong, and that the expected terrorist increased activity does not materialize. But so far, all the threat indicators from several different strategic threats are converging directly upon the U.S. during the same 3-year time frame.

No way is that just an accident.

So our appeal is to the sharp young fellows already well-prepared in the necessary particle physics, higher group symmetry EM, etc. Please get vitally interested in this energy from the vacuum approach. Check the references for yourself, and make up your own mind whether they actually show what we say they show. And if you can get a funded project, please get one at all speed and do a whale of a job on it.  I’m convinced the centralized power grid is going to be taken out, or mostly taken out, because of the extreme economic damage that will do. Added to the chaos expected in the streets and blood running in the streets, that will deliver perhaps the coup de grace.

Anyone else who can find a way to pull some clout in the high echelons of the NAS, NSF, NAE, DoE, etc., to get them impelled into quick funding of programs to research energy from the vacuum at breakneck speed – please do so immediately.

If the 3-year schedule is indeed correct, then we have barely time to try to offset it, even with strong measures being taken.

But we have to try. If faced with overwhelming odds and extremely heavy attack, when all else fails one throws a rock, even though it’s just a gesture. During WW II in North Africa, our troops in one location were being attacked quite strongly by the Luftwaffe. One day in one location, a small group of troops were pinned in their foxholes, while a German Messerschmitt made run after run, strafing their position. Meanwhile they were trying to eat lunch, from c-rations. Finally, in sheer disgust one fellow leaped up on the pile of dirt surrounding his foxhole position, full in the teeth of the incoming fighter with its guns ablaze. He yelled an epithet and hurled a filled c-ration can up in the air. As sheer incredible luck would have it, that c-ration can sailed up in the path of the low-level fighter, and got sucked into its intake, splitting into pieces and conking out the engine. The Messerschmitt peeled up with smoke trailing, its engine failed, and the pilot bailed out. The fellows then proceeded out there and captured the German pilot who had spoiled their lunch – and sat him down to lunch after all.

Right now,  it’s definitely time for rock-throwing, in the hope we just might penetrate that intake inlet and take out that hostile engine.

Best wishes,

Tom Bearden

Name is Jeff. I've been making a study of the energy crisis and agree
that alternative energy sources studied to date will not solve the crisis.
Except for MEG

Question: Could such a device be designed, manufactured and installed
approximate to breaker boxes on homes, and at what price?

Best,
Jeff
