Chris,

The effect Frank Golden and I ran into was startling, since we had never met it before. However, at that time we were also working with Prof. Bill Tiller, former head of the Materials Sciences Department at Stanford, and Tiller was well-aware of that effect, having experienced it for some years in his own experiments.

Longitudinal EM waves turn out to have a characteristic of charging up the mass of the immediate area, but with a special kind of charge over on the time axis. One must get out of electrical engineering and into quantum field theory, to understand it! In QFT, there are four photon polarizations, two being transverse and "observable", and the other two being (1) the longitudinally polarized photon, with its energy oscillating along the axis of propagation (like an accordion squeezing to and fro along the line of travel), and (2) the time-polarized photon (called a "scalar" photon), which is oscillating its energy over on the time axis. It's like a longitudinal photon on the time axis, so to speak.

Neither the scalar photon nor the longitudinal photon is individually observable, but the pair is observed as an ordinary voltage spike!

Now turn that around. When you are running a special machine and voltage spiking all over the place, you are also "spiking" with longitudinal and scalar photons. Before observation, things exist as 4-dimensional, not 3-dimensional. And time can be considered as a special form of very highly condensed energy, about the same energy density as matter.

So yes indeed, as you run a machine for a long time in an area, you do charge up the area with characteristics "favorable" to the operation of that beast. Tiller called it "creating the operational archetype," and we owe him a great deal for getting that across to us.

So where the machine had originally been located, over a period of about 5 years it had slowly increased in COP, until its COP reached about 2.0. Every time one turned it on there, it would exhibit COP = 2.0.

So Frank moved it a few hundred miles, set it up, and turned it on, and to our utter astonishment it suddenly was giving COP < 1.0, but OCCASIONALLY fluttering momentarily over unity. But it definitely was performing much worse than back in Tennessee where we had been "charging up the area in the time-domain" and "generating the archetype" for favoring the operation of that machine.

Anyway, we passed that incident along in our book, just so the new experimenter will not be startled if he runs into it. It's a real effect, and all is not lost if one hits it.

Best wishes,

Tom Bearden

"Hi Tom

I recently heard a comment from a traveller who was describing his trek to a foreign country on BBC Radio 4. He said that time had a "different flavour" in the country he was speaking about and the whole experience was different from that of other places he had visited. This reminded me of an account I have read on your website about a man who had developed a "free energy device" which worked ok at his house but when transported to a different region it wouldn't function. Do you think that, in different places, time or spacetime might indeed have a "different flavour" and different properties?

Best wishes

Chris
