Roger Owen, a friend of over three decades who has been a character in several of my books, is on the left, as I reload his Webley. I wish I had one of my own. I'd pick up a spare cylinder from Gun Parts and ream it for .45 Schofield.
It's a very pleasant gun to shoot and perfectly adequate for self-defense, even with the original cartridge which propels a 265 grain hollow-based pure lead slug at a stately 770 feet per second.
