Yours truly shoots his daughter's Glock 17. As Glocks go, it's a rather elderly police trade-in, but it shoots like a top, very reliably, and with passable accuracy.
I have a "Foreign Legion" hat like Roger's, but couldn't find it that day before we went. I'll look for it again, or wear some sort of sombrero.
