Now, St. Martinville Police Chief Calder Hebert says that the simple act of resisting arrest falls under this law, so is a hate crime. (https://reason.com/blog/2017/01/23/louisiana-police-chief-resisting-arrest)

I assume that, like me, you think the entire concept of a "hate crime" is ridiculous, but beyond all that, I'd like to hear your insight on this new turn in government overreach.

And yet another crime victim by the cops and Idaho government lawyers. Never mind the truth clearly shows there was no crime committed by the accused. How these monsters that put innocent people in jail can sleep at night shows deep rooted and serious mental health issues. Normal decent people could not do what these monsters in Idaho government do to other people. Clearly the criminally insane are in control in Idaho.
