I'm more of a funk, R&B, country/southern rock fan myself. Sorry 'bout that ;).

Groups/individuals I favored most were Hall & Oates, Average White Band, Elvin Bishop, Charlie Daniels, Johnny Cash, Molly Hatchet, et al.dixiedoghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09845646940134894119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32869165.post-37637063828307082232007-05-02T08:40:00.000-06:002007-05-02T08:40:00.000-06:00extreme wisdom -- Thanks for the link to your show...extreme wisdom -- Thanks for the link to your show; I look forward to listening!

You're exactly right that neither toll roads or foreign ownership is innately troublesome. I am concerned, however, that the "privatization" we're seeing represents consolidation of public assets in the hands of a corporate cartel run by the Federal Reserve. I may be completely wrong about this. I certainly hope so.William N. Also, I was somewhat enthralled in how you adroitly explained in some detail, through the tales of the Brit John Cooke and others in Nazi Germany, of how contemporary Americans are walking (if not running) down that same well-trodden road as well.

You hit it when you stated (paraphrased) that the State will eventually constrict true freedom and liberty to the point that only those with the highest integrity and character will have the courage to oppose it.

I hope to be like them and to stand firm when the decision becomes either the State's way or death, knowing that to fret, become fearful, or worry about it is pointless since God is in ultimate control of all things. As Patrick Henry said, "Give me liberty or give me death!" That mentality, I'm afraid, is totally foreign to the vast majority of Amis today.

And when you get right down to the grit of it, there really is no "middle of the road" position. Either one will absolutely comply or one will absolutely die; it'll be just that simple and direct in due time.

I continue to look forward to future podcasts and/or radio presentations, Will. Your presentation skills, on this medium at least, are top-notch, IMO.dixiedoghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09845646940134894119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32869165.post-45849702754396286422007-04-30T17:10:00.000-06:002007-04-30T17:10:00.000-06:00Have you read "Snow Crash" by chance?
