I think this blog is a pile of horse poo. Has anyone checked the credibility of this blogger who is a so called Christian but all of you on here have passed JUDGEMENT. That is only for God to make, wouldn't all of you pray for God to help this family rather than badmouth someone ? And this anonymous blogger, really? You think it is not obvious that you are the same person as the blogger, just using a fake name to make this story relevant? Your wrting style is the same. You are obviously not very smart to see that. This blog also was picked up by this loser because he's the only one that probably believes all of this. Justice will prevail and lets all pray for God to help these people not badmouth them thinking this helps. I am very glad that this article was written. I know the Teutons and I have personally witnessed Mark being extremely abusive towards his ex-wife and children. Yelling at them, physical abuse, etc. Their eldest son, Johnathon, was on a sports team with my son when they were younger. This is how I know the abuse goes back so many years. Mark was always forcing him to achieve the impossible and blowing up when he wasn't performing to his standards. Parents would talk about it. It is about time that someone step up and help to protect this family. However, it is a shame that the police would act this way. Mark is an attorney and probably has many connections to law enforcement. Maybe Jove owned Mark a favor? Maybe Mark has some "dirt" on Jove?

The connection between Mark Teuton and Det. Jove may very well be, as Will Grigg says, be that Mark "has something" on Jove. It could also involve money, i.e., bribery. This is, at this point, pure speculation, but it's based on this: I know Mark Teuton all too well. I met him in 1986. Mark is a slick, brilliant attorney who has made and squandered many millions of dollars; he would not in any way be adverse to attempting to bribe anyone, including a police officer. He would not hesitate to pay someone to kill his family. I know this despicable fiend because he married my best friend, Patrice. I was maid-of-honor at her wedding, as was she at mine, and I am Godmother to her two sons. I sent this information out to many major media, and only Will Grigg, God bless him, was willing to call Patrice, to research this case and write about it. I ask for your prayers for Patrice and her children, and that Mark Teuton and Det. Jove and all others enabling them be brought to justice.

I've been sending out inquiries on that question this afternoon. I have a theory that wasn't suitable for publication in the main article, but consider appropriate for a comment thread.

Among the accusations made against Mark Teuton by both his estranged wife and his terrified oldest son is that he is in the thrall of both drug addiction and sex addiction.

In their letters to the state bar the mother and son claim that he was hooked on child pornography, and the laptops allegedly contained evidence of that habit (in addition to financial misconduct).

Wherever there is government-enforced prohibition there are bootleggers (that is, people who serve the prohibited market) and crooked cops who protect them.

I find myself wondering if Teuton, during his excursions into the hintermost fringes of the demimonde, discovered something about Jove that would compromise him.

Yes, the detective had already gotten away with murder, but if he were in any way involved in protecting organized vice he might be vulnerable.

In my limited experience, there is little love lost between the two sets of functionaries.

Although of little comfort to Patrice Teuton, or her family, following their ordeal. It will be interesting to see whether or how the court which issued the "protection order" re-asserts the demarcation lines crossed by the psychopathic actors in this.

Indeed, Mike... and back up everything to an encrypted thumb drive or other secure device, and put anything sensitive in a safe deposit box in this sort of situation. The notebooks full of receipts and so forth should already have been in a bank vault. The stalker would have had at least a slightly more difficult time finding them.

Will, if the seized computers were running Microsoft Windows as their operating system, the fact that Mark Teuton didn't have the passwords is irrelevant -- all he had to do was boot up the laptops in question with a Linux live CD or DVD. Then he would have been able to get any files that weren't previously encrypted or password-protected from the hard drives.

Morals of the story:

Avoid saving to the internal hard drive whenever possible.

Strong passwords are a must.

Learn to use Linux (or BSD, or some other open source operating system not dependent upon Microsoft or Apple).
