Now that GW has his ghostwritten "memoirs" inflicted upon us, I caught wind of his support of water boarding on BBC. He was, and we're to believe this nonsense, told that it was not illegal. What a hoot! To think that after all the death and destruction he has to supposedly be informed of its legality. And now Obama and his legal cadre are arguing for the legality of summary assassinations! Would someone please remind me what country this is because I think I've slipped into an alternate universe fueled by lies.

Thus you have pointed out the obvious once again: The State brooks no competition when it comes to the dissemination and profit thereof from violence. It is the sole arbiter on what is and is not the "limit" to its powers. And when you can define what that is on the fly without any consequences then there isn't any. Rome, the Ottomans, you name em... they don't hold a candle to this empires reach.

A devastating and terrible essay, mostly because it is all true, every word of it. We only have to cast our glance back over history, and as far back as we care to look it is always the small but monstrous vampire cabal of the The State, or The King, or The Emperor, or The President, and their sycophants - the Barons, the Lords, the Duma, the Senate, the Commissars, the Parliament - who have sent masses of humanity off to kill and maim each other, claiming a monopoly right to this privilege.

And consider: When one leader physically captures the other, he is always treated with the utmost courtesy and honor, as befits not an enemy, but a fellow in crime.

I see no way to stop this, except the total bankruptcy of the State, specifically our U.S. of A. If hyperinflation comes, no amount of imaginary fiat money printed by the State will suffice to pursue its agenda, and all its criminal adventures will collapse, because the State's fiat money will not be accepted by anyone. When a new aircraft carrier costs a hundred thousand decaquillion dollars, no more of them will be built. The problem is, the vast suffering we would all have to endure, every one of us, if this comes to pass.

When the disease is severe, the medicine is bitter.

But I see no other way. And I fear that God will see justice done in the world, soon. The world everywhere is sinking into criminality, greed, callous barbarity, and fathomless evil. Our human species is ignoring the commands and advice for living which God has revealed in every religion, has turned its back on its Creator, and is hurtling relentlessly down a path of self-destruction. Millions of people in the defense industry in this country are busy day and night inventing ever-more-creative and more efficient and more spectacular means of killing and torturing people, and destroying the Earth.

All in pursuit of "money".

One ray of hope for us to console ourselves with: There was once a time when this country was not the world's military Superpower, and the people in spite of that generally lived happy and rewarding lives. After this country and the world go bankrupt, those days might come again. Let us hope you and I are still alive to enjoy it.
