I also was convinced, as you are, that WTC7 was a demolition job. The way it collapsed from the bottom falling inwards towards the middle was too perfect. Many demolition experts looked at the tapes and said, that was indeed a controlled demolition. Also, the fact that the BBC announced in London that the building had fallen 20 minutes BEFORE it actually fell was too much to swallow. Also, the fact that no steel-frame building ever fell before just from internal fires was too powerful a truth.

However, I changed my mind. Go read the article on Wikipedia.

(1) It had 47 floors. After it was built, the intended tenant went bankrupt, and it was rented to another trading firm, who had the building retrofitted to accomodate a trading floor by removing THREE ENTIRE FLOORS of the building on the lower floors (I think 5 through 7), leaving a hollow shell which had to be reinforced by hundreds of tons of steel. This weakened the original structure - it was no longer an intact matrix of steel girders, but had a great big hole in the middle of the matrix near the bottom.

(2) It also housed a Con Ed substation and an emergency management department, with huge transformers which weighed many tons, situated on various floors up to the ninth. There were several heavy emergency generators and large tanks of diesel fuel on different floors. The building was not built to support these extra loads.

(3) When the North Tower fell, a massive chunk of that building tore a huge hole in the south face of WTC7, from the tenth to the second floors (if I remember right,) extending about halfway into the depth of the building. This again took out most of the remaining support on the lower floors in the center of the building, which was the first to collapse - just like a controlled demolition.

(4) Finally, you had the fires, fueled by the diesel tanks and the contents of the building. The sprinkler system was defunct and the fire hoses did not work, since the collapse of WTC1 and WTC2 had severed all the water mains in lower Manhattan, and there was no water pressure. The firefighters you saw playing hoses on the wreckage for days to weeks afterwards were being supplied by the NYC fleet of fire boats, moored alongside the WTC in the Hudson River, and pumping water from the river to fight the fires in the WTC.

(5) A couple of hours before WTC actually fell, the walls started to bulge outwards, indicating the whole structure was sagging. The fire chief pulled out all his personnel from the building and they were just waiting for it to collapse. It was a foregone conclusion. It was inevitable, and everyone on the scene could see it. This was the reason why the BBC jumped the gun and said it had collapsed, 20 minutes early. They misheard what they were being told, that it was going to collapse any minute.

This has nothing to do with Mr. Grigg's essay, but this rumor or WTC7 controlled demolition has to be put to rest so we can focus on more important issues, which are: Who knew beforehand about the 9/11 plot, and said nothing? That is the real issue. I for one believe the President, Dick Cheney, and several others were fully aware of the entire plot.

Great article. These cases are so pathetic, but the people are so indifferent and stupid the establishment can get away with anything.

It's even worse. A reasonable person looks at videos of building 7 falling (many reasonable people have forgotten that a third building fell) and realizes that it indeed underwent controlled demolition. What exactly happened on 9/11 may never be known, but proof of the conspiracy follows from the fact that wtc 7 blew up. It's understandable that intelligent people don't want to admit that it was an inside job, especially when there is no proof of what DID transpire. In proving certain properties of the integers, mathematicians accept mathematical induction as a valid proof method. Proofs by induction don't let us "see" how something is true, but only that it is true. The same goes in the Kennedy assassination, for example. Don't know what happened, but it wasn't just Oswald. 9/11 however, is a much more important event. That day IS BEING USED TO ENSLAVE THE PLANET. Oh, how long Lord will you let the charade of that day stand?

Back to Wills article... What gets me more than anything is that what we see are the Feds playing the role of agent provocateurs each and every time they "nab" those bad guys!... Ooooooh! Its scary!

That makes perfect sense, especially the part about Julian Assange being a CIA "asset." If Wikileaks was a truly "rogue" site, the full weight of the Regime's "law enforcement" arm would have swung into action and the site would have been shut down within sixty minutes of the first round of "leaked" documents making their appearance. That this did not happen and that Assange is still alive and breathing somewhere* seems to confirm your comment that "all is not what it seems."

(* The Regime's most elite military forces "couldn't find or capture" Osama bin Laden either, despite all their state-of-the-art surveillance equipment, massive firepower, and millions of dollars in bounty money. This means that either 1) they didn't really want him dead, as he was too useful a tool to lose, or 2) he was already dead even before 9/11's events occurred, but it served the Regime too well to let his memory die along with him. Ditto with Julian Assange, a "mere mundane" without the wealth, following, or resources of Bin Laden. If the CIA or DoD really wanted him dead, he could easily have been tracked down and would have been on a slab weeks or months ago. It's our modern version of the Roman circus, in which Christians were used to stage "encounters" with wild animals, gladiators "fought" each other to the death, and entire naval battles were staged in the Colosseum, all to entertain the Plebes and keep them from thinking about their wretched lives of squalid misery, while the Senators, Consuls, Praetors, Emperors, and Sundry Nobles wallowed in obscene luxury.
