What is most disturbing is the idea that those who read anything questioning the legal underpinning of the income tax are considered threats to the federal government's power. Let's hope so. Of course this assumes that the case will go to trial in a court uncorrupted by politics or judicial/prosecutorial misconduct, a highly risky proposition at best.

And then there's the feds to contend with. I don't see many grounds for optimism on that score.

Phil Hart should have our support in his battle with the IRS.

Had Phil Hart resisted the urge to vote FOR midwifery licensing he would have more credibility as a legislator.
