I just posted a comment on the last story of the choking death of Eric Garner, which has been ruled a homicide by the NYC Medical Examiner. You might want to go back and follow the link I gave.

Re THIS story: Government is all about money. Every person working for government is a leech sucking dry the wealth, sweat and blood of productive human beings. Some of them wield guns, and some of them wield paper, but that is just as bad, since if you do not submit to their paper demands for loot and plunder, the men with the guns will come after you.

The War on Drugs is a farce and always has been. It is various organs of government itself which foster and organize the trade in drugs, and do commerce with the criminal drug cartels. Hundreds of billions of dollars are ready to be made here. Anyone recall Operation Fast and Furious? We STILL have never gotten any explanation for that one from the Justice (sic) Department.

None of the minarchists can agree on what "limited" might actually mean.

Even if we assume that the scope of state is limited to national defence police and courts, none of them can agree on how much; 0.9% of GDP, 9%, 90% or 99% of GDP should be spent on those monopolies, or how it should be split between them.

As to how a baby leviathan can be kept to the size that a minarchist might choose, when it can both print and borrow money to grow itself irrespective of tax boycotts...

Excellent work, once again Will. A few thoughts are provoked out of the madness of this matter by parasites who hide and live in the underground world of government service.
First this is, qualified immunity, is being used as a form of Diplomatic Immunity, which it isn't anything close. Qualified Immunity should only be used in cases where honest service is protected so people whom are honestly for filling their duties of public service are not scared off from doing the right thing. Its not a Diplomatic Immunity for willful criminal conduct.
In our world today where America's jobs have been sent offshore, the carpet baggers have flocked to government employment and are now wrecking this country from every angle they can for self serving reasons. Its like the Reconstruction of the South by the carpet baggers after the Civil War but only on steroids. (No pun intended in terms of Roid Rage, which in fact would be warranted.)
The one interesting development that is coming to our country and in fact in short order. Is the American people (the productive class) are taxed out. So the parasites who have been rewarding themselves with above pay scales and sweet retirements with medical coverage in many cases. Will not have the money for these self generated rewards. They will try to tax the people from every angle they can but when homes are being taking for massive tax bills, all bets are off. The only way is limited government, to keep sinful people limited in the damage they can do to the rest of the people.

Here's something way off topic about "qualified immunity", which is something mentioned on here a lot. I just heard of a case where a college student had slipped on a stretch of ice on campus and was injured. She sued the groundskeeper and lost. The reasoning was that the groundskeeper has the same qualified immunity as the cops when they cause or allow people to get hurt while doing their job.

I guess it doesn't stop with cops after all.
