I ordered Apple's AirPods in mid-December. They arrived in early February, a week ahead of Apple's original estimate.
They are not hi-fi headphones, but they sound better than the old wired earbuds. And, as I expected, they lower the impedance of taking the wired ones out of the box and rewrapping the wire aftewards. I've been wearing them on my walks, and thoroughly enjoying them!
I fell twice today on the slippery snow, and they did not come out of my ears. Bravo, Apple!
