The Editor's Corner

Nine! Free-Market.net lives! ISIL acquired most of FMN and is continuing to operate the valued service. Our very own Publisher, Sunni Maravillosa, is the new Director of Operations. DF! is getting into the book business. e-books, that is. The aforementioned busy Sunni Maravillosa is working on a book about the personal aspects of freedom. We are tentatively planning to release it in May 2003. And Tom Spooner is working on a book that updates and expands his popular how-to articles. Expect to see that in April.
After the brief surge that made January's issue possible, donations have fallen way off. Lacking financial support from the site, I'm going to find another way to pay the bills. To keep faith with the folks who have already kicked in, I'll keep DF! going, but it might be on a quarterly basis instead of monthly. But you can keep us monthly by clicking that donation button below. If you have a business you'd like to advertise, you can support us and benefit yourself (even aside from our great information!) by Advertising in Doing Freedom!. Ads in DF! can reach the several thousand individuals we receive every month. I always need articles for future issues: See our guidelines for more information. I particularly want unsubscribing articles. Good topics would include underground economy, interfacing with the gov world (licenses, property taxes, vehicle registration, et cetera), alternate IDs, disappearing, networking, and underground railroads. If you thought of something I missed, send me an article. I'm interested in how-tos and reviews of services and products. Speaking of reviews; we do that. If you happen to be marketing something - books, software, products, and services - which you'd like us to review (and thus publicize), contact me. I have reviewers on tap with a wide variety of experience. We'll give a fair and honest eval.
