Anarcho-Capitalism Defined

Definition:

Anarcho-Capitalism is a view of societal organization characterized by a lack of government and the affirmation of private property.

The lack of government is a result of the affirmation of the non-aggression principle, i.e., the initiation of violence by individuals is opposed, but defensive violence is affirmed. An individual's allegience to or membership in any organization including government does not obviate this principle. As a result, all government relying on the initiation of force, as all current forms do, is excluded.

Private property starts with each individual's body and then extends to all justly acquired other property. 'Justly' entails no initiation of force. Thus proper acquisition would only be through voluntary trade, gift, or claiming of unowned property, i.e., property either abandoned or not yet claimed by any individual.
