KT Ordnance is Back!

From the looks of the KT Ordnance web site, Richard-Patrick Celata is back in the unfinished frame business, selling 60% frames this time. For a 60% 1911 frame he wants $265 in FRNs, or 10 one-ounce Silver Eagles or 2 1/10 ounce Gold Eagles. That's a big discount for paying with gold or silver. Same price the mint charges for uncirculated coins bought in single quantities. Way over spot. At today's spot silver price, $13.25, that's only $132.50 for that frame. Yowza!

I haven't called or emailed to verify, but it looks like good news.
