It's a pretty little thing, isn't it? I read elsewhere that it runs Linux and has only solid-state memory.

Of course I'd rather have a Linux palmtop than a WinCE one, and I'd rather have solid-state memory than rotating storage for a portable device anyway. If you look at the developer's forum you'll see they detected wireless ethernet hooks in the Sony Reader's kernel, too.
