I faxed this letter to the Governors Council on Friday Jan, 23rd
[2004]. In less than five minutes I received a phone call from Daniel
Winslow the governors chief legal council. He wanted to know what
happened to me and if I knew anything about Capeless being involved in
corruption. So my question to him was do you have about a month to
hear what happened to me. Nevermind the Commonwealth can't afford to
run up its phone bill. I will send you the mountain of material
explaining what happened to me. For those who don't know Gerard
Downing was the DA who joined up with ADA Kelly Mulcahy to fuck me. He
dropped dead a few weeks ago allegedly from a heart attack. I
seriously doubt that. I have learned that everyone that screwed me was
under the influence of drugs and or alchol. For those who don't know
what heppened to me go to WWW.massnews.com March 2001. I recently met
a man who told me that when he was a young lad and heavily into
recreational drugs he and some friends were hired by Judge
Barbalunga. At the end of every day he would pay them in cash, booze
and cocaine. Sometimes he would invite them in to get high with him. A
few times when they were all snorted up they would sit and watch him
beat up his wife. What a guy. He certainly has all the qualifications
for a Mass. judge. I also met several other people who told me they
frequently smoke pot with another judge to be named later. Now these
are the very people I watch ask those who were about to give up their
rights and plead guilty to something they may or may not have done
whether they had consumed any drugs or alcohol in the past 24 hrs. In
retrospect I should have been asking Judge Barbalunga that and I
certainly should have included DA Gerard Downing and ADA Kelly Mulcahy
as her behavior was nothing less than strange. My attorney Robert
Chesbro used to brag about what a heavy drinker he is and I heard him
telling others that in order to get away with driving under the
influence you should turn you rearview mirror vetically so if a cop
comes behind you you don't know. He said what makes you swerve is that
you get nervous. I once asked him what he was going to do know that
golf season was over. His answer "become a professional drinker." This
should have tipped me off that maybe he wasn't even capable of putting
my best interest at heart. So here comes the letter. Daniel Winslow
told me he wants to hear from anyone that has any info. about Capeless
being corrupt. So, if you do, let him have it and about any other
Berkshire or other county DAs that are corrupt. Lets see what this
governor is really made of.
Dear Sir/Madame:
The Governor will be replacing Gerard Downing, Berkshire County DA,
(deceased) with an appointee, until the Nov. election. Having been a
victim of the corruption of Downing, et. al. I implore you to appoint
someone who is not corrupt, has no political ties to the "good old boy"
network and owes no political favors to anyone in Berkshire Co. I assume
you know that the office of district attorney in Berkshire Co. has been
under investigation for three years. My self and other victims have
tried to get help from the governor, but we have all encountered his
aide, who identifies himself as "Harry the supervisor." He was rude and
arrogant to all of us. He told me "Lady you are never going to get any
help from this office and don't bother sending a letter of complaint. It
will come to me and I will put it in the shredder." Nice guy to be a
spokesperson for the Governor and Lt. Governor.
