Response to McLaughlin

This is my response to Lt. McLaughlin.

Well isn't this interesting. You have completed your investigation after just a short six months. How time flies. I didn't realize the commonwealth is in the habit of issuing crystal balls to its employees. How else could you have investigated the crimes committed by the troopers involved? Isn't it customary to interview the key witness—that would be me—and examine the evidence when conducting an investigation? Being as how I am the one of two people who have the evidence, the other being my attorney, I can't recall you requesting copies. I also don't recall you interviewing me.

Please don't insult me by pretending that silly meeting with Lts. Butler and Regin was an interview. Basically it consisted of a very poor attempt at playing good cop/bad cop. But you see that didn't work because I have already seen that movie several times. The rest of the so-called "interview" was an attempt to get me to snitch on a friend. Have you also forgotten the incident of the illegal wire tap that was installed on my phone? You don't mention that CRIME in your letter.

This investigation wasn't by any chance conducted by the same IAD personnel that investigated the illegal goings-on at the Grafton barracks would it? If so I am getting worried about your eyesight. Perhaps we could request funding from the legislature to get you all glasses as you seem to be missing things that are right in front of your nose.

I DID NOT ask you to investigate Troopers Robertson and Curran. I asked you to investigate the CRIMES committed by Trooper Curran, Sgt. Joseph O'Hare, Sgt. Potter, Lt. Gary Lemay and Major Charles Appleton. Of course we now have to add Lts. Regin and Butler since they forged my name on that letter.

Because you seem to be struggling so hard with this issue, I have taken the time to help you with some research. Enclosed you will find copies of all the Mass General LAWS that were violated and by whom. Enclosed also please find my bill to the commonwealth for my time. I charge $95.00/hr for legal research with a minimum of one hour. As you can see the charge is for $95.00 but it actually only took me 15 minutes to find this information. Regarding the perjury all you have to do is review the testimony. You see sir, it is impossible for three people to testify UNDER OATH, in open court, about the same event and say three different things. At least two of them have to be lying. Which sworn testimony, in whole, did your office use in its investigation?

You have now placed yourself on the ever growing list of co-conspirators who have violated my civil rights and committed fraud as you have not faithfully carried out your duties you took a sworn oath to do. You might want to go back to the drawning board and take another look in case you missed some small item like conducting a REAL INVESTIGATION.

I wonder how the legislators at the statehouse are going to react when they realize the employees in Framingham are collecting big fat salaries but aren't doing anything to earn them. I don't imagine they are going to be pleased to find out the Mass. State Police, on a regular basis, violate the very laws they so diligently pass to protect the citizens of the commonwealth. It would appear it is time to assign an investigator to investigate the investigators.

Pursuant to Mass. General Laws Title X Chapters 66 & 66A., otherwise known as the Public Records Law and the FOIC I am requesting that you send me a copy of your "completed investigation". I require from your office copies of the finished report, affirmed to be true copies under pains and penalties of perjury. Do you support the results of the investigation under pains and penalties of perjury?

I am reserving all rights to seek redresss of grievance in response to governmental malfeasance. If you or Major John A. Burns have any questions you may contact me at (413)337-4306.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Linda Hamilton
