Dear Mr. Barrett:

This letter is to serve notice of my intent to sue the town of North Adams, yourself, the selectmen, and the police department for the malicious acts and civil rights violations committed against me by Detective Lesniak; also the malfeasance by you and Chief Morroco for taking no disciplinary action against Detective Lesniak. The suit to be heard in front of a jury will ask for two million dollars in damages.

At this time I am making you an offer to settle for $100,000.00 and the following stipulations: that Detective Lesniak immediately be relieved of his duties and that he be arrested and charged with perjury, violation of my civil rights and theft of a firearm.
